Katherine Duclos (b. 1980, Massachusetts) received her MFA in Painting and Drawing from Pratt Institute in 2012 in Brooklyn, NY. She moved from New York City to Vancouver, BC in late 2017 with her family, where she maintains an active multi-media studio practice delving into concepts of motherhood, identity, neurodivergence, materiality, and more. Her work is a reflection of her engagement with her family, environment and her experience as a woman.
Duclos regularly exhibits her work across the US and Canada and her work can be found in several galleries. She has worked as a teaching artist for organizations such as Studio in a School in New York City and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She welcomes studio visits, commissioned projects, and collaborations.
