I have been a huge LEGO fan for most of my life and have collected many sets through the years. But one of the most annoying things to me was when a LEGO set retired or a brand new set came out and you had no clue about its existence. It would be so frustrating to see a great LEGO set come out and for you to not get your hands on it and add it to your ever-growing collection.
So I started Bricks Up to let people know about new sets and themes and hear the latest information about all things LEGO. With the Bricks Up website and platform, I aim to provide the latest information and news on new LEGO sets and themes, as well as a platform for fans of the brick to share their opinions and perspectives on all things LEGO, past, present and future.

Our website provides the latest news, rumours and insights on all things LEGO as we aim to foster a vibrant community of LEGO fans that can easily access and gain the knowledge they deserve about LEGO and go beyond the brick. We strive to provide you with well-researched articles and high-quality content that cater to all ages and interests.

I knew I was a ‘Big Kid’ especially when I came across a Lego Star Wars collection that I sorted, built, then sold. I realized how much fun this was. From there I started buying and selling lego products. Then it evolved into investing in a plastic injection machine so that I could create my own weapons and accessories for lego minifigures. I then wanted to find ways to get creative with lego minifigures and the custom weapons I was making so I became a ‘tailor’ and started making custom capes and other cloth items for the minifigures. Now I am having fun designing and printing my own custom printed lego minifigures and other lego elements. What can I say I am having fun!!!!!
We are a small but growing company consisting of my wife, my kids, and me “The Big Kid” Will Dawson. We are flexible and interested in anything Lego or similar to Lego. We care about quality so no matter what we make and sell or resell, the same quality will be there just like Lego’s quality!
The first LEGO set you built. Your friend’s face when you gifted them their favorite set for Christmas. Stomping barefoot on a pile of bricks (ouch!). How LEGO got you out of bed during a depression. The memory of your child building something out of random bricks for the first time.
It all started with a few of us sharing our LEGO stories. We realized we all have different experiences, but one thing in common, a connection through LEGO. We created 100 LEGO stories because we know there are others out there like us.
A story can simply be a picture of your favorite set. A LEGO memory with a loved one. A drawing. A handwritten letter. A podcast. A video. There is no right or wrong. A LEGO story can be anything and come from anywhere. Want to get involved? Submit your story and follow us on Facebook!

Andy Bauch’s dynamic works of LEGO and other materials beckon viewers to question the ever-magnifying pull of the digital world on the physical. Inspired from studying digital video compression techniques, Bauch selected LEGO bricks, an eye-catching and familiar childhood hallmark, as his medium of choice to echo the pixelated nature of digitization. He utilizes computer algorithms and software assistance to create his mosaics, work that reflects the physical manifestation of the abstract threat of technological singularity.
Bauch’s artworks often conceal data in icons of pop culture, art history. By using cheerful plastic toys to explore darker, more complex subjects, he forces viewers to question artistic materiality and consider artwork outside of traditional norms.
Originally from Boston, he is currently living and working in Los Angeles. He most recently exhibited at The Getty Villa in Malibu.
Geometric artist Jeff Sanders’ amazing LEGO sculptures have been seen nearly 250 million times across every major online platform–from the front page of reddit to features by YouTube, the LEGO Group, Buzzfeed, Nerdist, and more.
Jeff’s work sits at the nexus of art, engineering, mathematics, and popular culture–exploring the patterns inherent in LEGO® bricks, and pushing the limits of what can be created with the ubiquitous construction toy.
There’s no heat, no glue, or magic in Jeff’s work—it’s just experimentation, imagination, and a lot of patience.
Jeff has shipped original commissioned artworks around the world, including the 10 square meter mega-build ‘Ten Point Geometry in Brick’ for the 2019 Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival in the United Arab Emirates.
Warren Elsmore is an artist in bricks and a lifelong fan of LEGO® bricks , based in Edinburgh, UK.

She moved from New York City to Vancouver, BC in late 2017 with her family, where she maintains an active multi-media studio practice delving into concepts of motherhood, identity, neurodivergence, materiality, and more. Her work is a reflection of her engagement with her family, environment and her experience as a woman.
Duclos regularly exhibits her work across the US and Canada and her work can be found in several galleries. I create custom art and mosaics with LEGO® bricks
I can create a mosaic or sculpture of your company logo, a mosaic portrait of your kids, a scale model of your office building or anything else that you can think of!
This is The Art of LeGogh and my name is Eric Hunter. I am an artist and LEGO® is my medium. I design and build custom LEGO models of anything you desire; from buildings and vehicles to mosaics, sculptures and more. Click here to email me for an estimate!
Since I was four years old, I have been building with LEGO bricks; so I have over 45 years of experience so far! I am a former Master Model Builder of nearly nine years at LEGOLAND® California from 2005 to 2013. What a wonderful experience that was! I learned a lot about design and implementation while working there. I had the privilege of designing the world’s (now second-tallest) Miniland® building to date; The Petronas Twin Towers model which is the centerpiece of LEGOLAND Malaysia. It is 32.85 feet tall and constructed entirely out of regular-sized LEGO elements.
I am Sofiane Samlal or Samsofy, a plastician photographer from Lyon born in 1981. I began my work in extreme sports photography in urban areas.
Under the influence of geek culture, my artistic approach is now focused around the very appreciated small yellow characters.
I combine the techniques of photography, street art, model making and installation to deliver a message, which often mixes politics, humor and poetry.
In my microcosmos I like to play with scales and matter in order to alter perception. I try to take pictures that mixes the extremely big and the microscopic to help the naked eye discover what one can’t see usually.
As a self-taught artist, perseverance, inspiration and above all, trust have been Dante Dentoni’s key. Creating art installations requires the confidence of all observers and collectors who choose to have art built as part of their home. His embedded works, as a kind of tattoo, are personalized and treated with perfectionism. His intention is that installations connect physical and emotional environments, mixing art with architecture, combine the experiences of observers with his own intervention. Each scene within an installation is not only a hidden and mysterious space, but also an invitation to discover a recreation of a childhood memory, an unforgettable narrative, a valuable remembrance or simply a meaningful moment, wondering to make you feel the pleasure of being surprised. Toys, LEGOs bricks, wood and drywall allow Dante to create scenes full of details, which do their best to inspire your own imagination.
Ever since I was a little girl it was my dream to become a Master Model Builder. That dream became a reality in 2003 when I was hired as the first American Woman to work in the Model Shop at LEGOLAND California.
I spent the next 4 years creating everything from a life sized Pirate, a 4 foot ladybug, to my most famous model the miniland Las Vegas sign.
In 2007 I left the park and started Model Building Secrets and became the first Female Freelance LEGO Artist and Author in the World. For the last 12 years I have worked for some of the world’s top companies including Google, Warner Brothers, and 20th Century Fox creating custom models and mosaics made from LEGO® elements

I DESIGN CUSTOM-BUILT LEGO® MODELS, SCULPTURES, AND KITS.
I take immense pride in my craft, holding myself to the highest standards of quality, ingenuity, and play-ability across all aspects of what I do.
I’ve been a fan of LEGO for as long as I can remember— really, I’ve been building since I’ve had fine motor skills! Over the years, the way I interface with LEGO has evolved: I’ve grown from a general brand enthusiast into a full-time brick artist.
I think of LEGO as a flexible medium with infinite possibilities. My work has spanned many genres, from brick-ifying icons to capturing life, from exploring fantasy to product design. I sometimes even bend my playful plastic pieces towards social commentary.
In early 2020, I appeared as a contestant on the United States’ first season of LEGO Masters, a reality-format building competition show.
Matt Kustra’s passion for Lego® bricks dates back to his childhood, when he got the first Lego® set for his 4th birthday. It was love at first sight. Throughout the years, he was given more and more sets to build. As adulthood came, he discovered Lego® Digital Designer, he began his adventure to become the first Lego Certified Professional from Poland.
In 2010, he created his first design. It was a mock-up of Cracow’s Cloth Hall, including 20 000 Lego® bricks. After a few years, he created a huge exhibition of models and mock-ups depicting the history of Poland. It consists of 10 huge exhibits. Some of them include over 200 000 Lego® bricks!
Through his career as a professional Lego® builder, Matt had an opportunity to design and construct models and mock-ups for such companies as Whirlpool, Amazon and Panattoni. There were also orders from private collectors and even celebrities – David Beckham, Friz from Ekipa (the most recognizable group of influencers in Poland) or Golden Ball for Robert Lewandowski.
Matt takes on a wide variety of projects. The orders come from Europe and other continents. He creates dioramas, sculptures, pictures and furniture. In addition, Matt also organizes workshops with Lego® for children and adults who are interested in Lego® building. Apart from it, he is involved in photography and loves taking pictures of Lego® minifigures scenes.
Hasan recalls receiving his first LEGO® in the late 80s when he was 3 years old and continued playing till pre-teens. Then he faced dark-ages but with the birth of his first child in 2011 he discovered his passion for LEGO® bricks again. With the nature of his job background of a financial auditor and accountant, LEGO® bricks were the de-stresser. In 2019 he attended Skaerbaek Fan Weekend and was astonished to see endless possibilities of LEGO bricks.
In late 2019, he started gathering AFOLs in the United Arab Emirates to have a single platform for LEGO® Community in the region and since then he has been leading the community in the region. He loves making his models with the standard LEGO® bricks. His MOCs have been displayed in LEGO® Certified Stores in Dubai.
Hasan is one of the only 23 LEGO® Certified Professionals (LCPs) globally and the only one in Middle East region.
Hasan is based in the United Arab Emirates but accepts commissions from all around the Middle East region. He likes to broaden his imagination and is open to creative projects, events both at private and corporate levels.
Björn only recently rediscovered LEGO in 2016. As stress relief for a demanding job as Software Architect, building sets soon evolved to designing own creations. Experimenting with the unlimited connectivity options of LEGO bricks sparks his creativity and sets his mind at ease. Replicating real-life objects in LEGO is one of his favorite pastimes.
Competing in LEGO Masters 2020 opened a new world of opportunities for challenging LEGO projects. Together with his LEGO Masters partner in crime, Corneel, he has built a highly accurate scale model of a super yacht, a replica of castle “Hof Ter Laken” and even made some Tips and Tricks for the LEGO Group. While perfecting his skills, he never stopped dreaming of making building with LEGO a true profession. Late 2021 he took the plunge and started his own part-time business, “The Pieces Fit”. As a self-employed LEGO designer, Björn is now accepting commissions from all sorts of companies.
Joining the LCP Program is a real dream come true and he hopes to further inspire kids and adults by showing the infinite possibilities of LEGO bricks.

Riccardo is from Italy. His passion for LEGO® bricks started from an early age but at the age of 28, Riccardo realised that this passion could become an integral part of his life. This thought inspires him to build using LEGO bricks as a way to express his creativity, seeking to show the several possibilities that LEGO bricks can offer. His great desire is that his sculptures may inspire Italian children to build fantastic creations with LEGO bricks.
In 2014, he created a 3D LEGO model of an M.C. Escher Relativity painting, that was being exhibited as part of a national exhibition related to the artist, together with 130 original artworks by the artist. In 2015, Riccardo’s dream became a reality, and he established the BrickVision® company that creates LEGO models and commissions for companies based on the values of the BrickVision that are quality, creativity and passion. Kevin has created with LEGO® bricks since he was 6, and has been part of the international LEGO community since 2000, creating not only models and sculptures, but also hosting workshops and public events. Before becoming a professional brick artist, Kevin spent three decades in the creative industry. Kevin’s company Brick Galleria combines a passion for LEGO model building with event organisation. The team’s models have featured in campaigns, toy fairs, exhibitions, print media and corporate organisations, for clients such as Walt Disney, LEGOLAND, English Heritage, Salesforce and The Natural History Museum London to name a few.

Since receiving his first LEGO® set at age five, hardly a day has gone by without Rene Hoffmeister building with LEGO bricks at least for a few minutes. He has built LEGO models for companies like Deutsche Telekom, Merlin Entertainment, Bosch, Deutsche Bahn, and HCI Capital, and even more models are in the works.
In 1999, Rene founded the largest German-speaking LEGO fan website in the world. Today, the portal receives thousands of visitors each day, and is a great starting point for those interested in the hobby of LEGO building.

Matija’s mission is to spread the joy of the brick among the adult population. He does this by designing commissioned models, mosaics, portraits, LEGO® related team building events, or other requests people may come up with.
Being a programmer, Matija rediscovered his love for the brick thanks to LEGO Mindstorms. He soon realized the potential of integrating Mindstorms with LEGO trains, which derailed him towards building models based on real buildings, vehicles, people, etc. Even though his work often revolves around the LEGO minifigure, no scale is off limits. He likes touching up his models with lights and other kinds of electronics to make them as realistic as possible.
Kev, also known as the Chief Fairy leads his team from the rolling hills of West Yorkshire. Kev rediscovered his passion for LEGO®️ products in 2011 after being given a LEGO Death Star as a birthday gift. This rediscovery led to the creation of Fairy Bricks to enable children throughout the world to be given the gift of play in hospital environments.
Well known for producing LEGO Mosaics, including the largest one ever created at the LEGO House in 2018 measuring a gigantic 14m X 12m, Kev and his team have the capability to produce anything from a small personalized gift to full size sculptures.
Kev has worked worldwide delivering play experiences and events, including specialized things unique to hospital environments. He welcomes enquiries and commissions from anyone sharing his passion to deliver the gift of play to children and adults.
When Georg was four years old, he received his first LEGO® set – the 6382 Fire Station – and from that time, he never stopped playing with LEGO bricks. Georg is still fascinated by the creativity and imagination that can come to life through LEGO bricks. With just a few LEGO elements, you are able to build many creative models.
Through time, Georg’s building skills have developed, and he has spent a lot of time showing his creations to children and adults. Every time, he is amazed to see the sparkles in their eyes when they see his creations. That is the reason why Georg started his own company in 2012, producing professional models made of LEGO bricks. His creations range from simple, small architecture buildings to life-size reproductions – the latest one being a 3.5 tonne tractor.
His introduction to the world of LEGO®️ products began on his 5th birthday with a gift of LEGO set, establishing a profound connection.
When he was a child, he had an unusual experience of making and presenting new LEGO creations with his local friends by setting a theme every week. Looking back, he thinks he might have been a little winging, a butterfly effect, to become an LCP.
As an adult, while pursuing his studies in industrial design and working as a product and furniture designer, he found himself once again captivated by the versatility of LEGO bricks, a medium that offered an immediate and visual representation of ideas. Following that, Under the pen name “Vant.” he provides a variety of curious experiences to those who see LEGO creations that cross products and works by working as a designer during the day and an artist at night.
In 2022, he participated in LEGO®️ Masters Korea with his partner Hayarobi and won the title of LEGO Master as the first winner.
Since then, working full-time as an artist, he founded ‘Brick Lab’, bringing exciting LEGO culture and elements to the public ranging from small, sensually crafted props that fit in the palm of your hand to massive architectural structures over 5 meters tall.
Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught, based in Australia, is the only LEGO® Certified Professional (LCP) in the Southern Hemisphere. Prior to becoming an LCP, Ryan was a Chief Information Officer, which led him to create an Airbus A380 model incorporating LEGO MINDSTORMS technology that brought him to the attention of LEGO bricks.
Ryan and his team specialise in making interactive models and cutaways, as well as record-breaking LEGO creations including life-sized cars, motorcycles and the tallest LEGO model in the Southern Hemisphere – a 7.5 m tall rocket with lights and sounds. He has put together 5 globally touring LEGO model exhibitions, and his creations have been displayed all around the world. Ryan has won many awards for his models and takes great pleasure in sharing his work with others.
Ryan’s work includes: architectural models, corporate signage, mosaics, engineering models and sculptures. Ryan is only too happy to accept commissions for truly unique creations.
Andy Hung, the first Chinese LEGO® Certified Professional (LCP), is proudly the only LCP throughout the Greater China Region. He is a full-time artist who works exclusively with LEGO bricks at his studios in Hong Kong and Beijing, China.
Andy has over 10 years of experience being the coordinator and creator of LEGO exhibitions co-organised by the LEGO brand and its partners, including top-level premium shopping malls in Hong Kong and China, government organisations as well as corporate clients. Welcome! We’re an LGBTQ+ community (GAYFOLs and AFOLs) who share our love of LEGO. Our group is a welcoming, inclusive and SAFE space for those who want to discuss and share their love of LEGO in all its shapes, colours and themes while being their authentic selves.
No matter if you’re gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, trans, or two-spirit you are welcome.
Allies are very welcome to be a part of our group too!
We want everyone to enjoy themselves. We recognise not everyone likes the same sets and themes – and that’s ok. Just scroll on by if a post is not for you.
Our group is relaxed, friendly, and fun – we lift each other up not tear each other down.
If you want to join, you MUST clearly answer ALL the joining questions or your request will be refused. You can try again, but need to answer them all clearly. Be sure to tell us how you found us!!
Please review the rules – they are there to ensure the group runs smoothly and is enjoyable for everyone.

Finally! A Facebook group for Adult Fans of LEGO in the LGBT community! Despite our name, we are inclusive of all LGBTQ+ people. This is a safe, fun place to share your MOCs, your loves and likes, linked articles, news and gossip, and general fun LEGO-related stuff.
To reiterate, this is a SAFE SPACE! No trolling will be tolerated. Other groups have been hostile to GayFOLs who out themselves. This won’t be like that. Since we’re small at the moment, I don’t see a reason to moderate here very much, so let’s keep things nice and casual and friendly. Don’t be the proverbial one who ruins it for everyone.
Post whatever you want, even if it’s not about LGBT stuff! Anything LEGO-related — or even LEGO adjacent — will be welcome here. I don’t mind if you wanna plug your LUG or website or business, but let’s not make this a marketplace. Think of this as an alternative hangout. Invite/add your friends to our GayFOLs group!
This is also a good place to coordinate and advertise LGBT meet-ups at conventions. If you have any questions, message me.
Thanks, and welcome to GayFOLs!
We’re here! We’re queer! Get building!

The club and its name, RenLUG, came about in early 2019 as a group of friends were building as a way to relax after a robotics tournament and discussing hobbies that would always keep the group together. That idea evolved into involving others in our shared hobbies by starting an informal group that would meet monthly for LEGO® building. Our new group needed a name, so we combined two words for an easy way to refer to our regular LEGO® hobby meetups.
Renaissance – a time of great technological advancements and a rebirth of creative and artistic endeavors
LUG – an acronym for LEGO® User Group
In 2024, marking our fifth anniversary, we applied for and successfully obtained 501(c)(3) non-profit status.

Thanks for visiting my site. As you probably guessed it’s all about LEGO®. I’m a Husband, and a Dad, and in my spare time I run this website and build my LEGO® city called Brick Land with the Fox & Moo Railroad going thought it.
Every year LEGO produces hundreds of new sets. It can be overwhelming! There are so many choices when choosing a set. My goal with this website is to help you make informed decisions about getting the perfect set. I have an established LEGO review process, and I strive to stay on top of the latest LEGO news. But you won’t find spoilers here – I want you to have the same joy and sense of awe and accomplishment when you open a box and complete a build.
BrickCamp aims to be an easy-to-use, open and secure online tool to help LEGO® builders accomplish their goals. Currently, it is still under heavy development by Tobias Buckdahn.
